Herbert "Herbie" Davis Jr., 62, went home to be with the Lord on January 25th, 2017. Born in Syracuse, he was the son of Herbert and Helen Davis. He was predeceased by both of his parents and a sister Patricia, and brothers James and Oliver as well as his granddaughter Angel.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria Davis and his children Lisa, Michael (Kim), Sonia (Carl) and April (Jerald) and his grandchildren Destinee, Clayton, Mike Jr., Victoria, Haley, Celisa, Aaron Jr., Jada, Ashiya, Ayvah, Rayannon and his great-granddaughter Amenah. He also leaves his sisters Gloria, Tena, Yvonne, Denise (Neil) and brother Timothy as well as his close childhood friend Cathy and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A celebration will take place on February 4, 2017 at Faith By Love Family Worship Church at 523 W. Onondaga St. in Syracuse, NY. Calling hours will be 10am to 11am with a service to follow.
