Miles would often recite his favorite scripture, James 1:22, "Be ye doers of the word, not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." This was Miles' creed. As a father, Miles' biggest joy was going to the various ponds to watch the ducks and other water fowl with Miles IV. His biggest challenge was learning to correctly identify the different species under the tutelage of Miles IV. Miles was a good man. He loved his son immensely.
