Too Strident?

Earlier this year there was consternation over an artist's rendition of MLK's image for a monument.

The artist's representation was no more strident than existing statues of 'heroes' that dot the nation's landscape.

The uproar over the expression and posture of the statue revealed a wish to re-write history, and by extension, the future.

Alas, neither are in their feeble power...
