Rosa Mae Evans
November 10, 2008 Rosa Mae Evans, 84, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully, Monday at University Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Evans Sr.; and son, John M. (Akili) Agnew. She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Ida Branch, Sylvia Evans, Margaret Love (Richard) and Mary Lorraine Evans all of Syracuse; eight sons, Williams Erskine Agnew (Delores) of Philadelphia, PA, David Agnew and Raymond Evans of Syracuse, Joseph Evans of Rochester, NY, Lawrence Evans, Ronald Evans (Carolyn), Akram "Tyrone" Siraaj (Grace) and Bila Siraaj of Syracuse; one sister, Maggie Bell of Syracuse; 48 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; a host of great-great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Thursday, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Garland Bros. Funeral Home, 143 W.
