Miss Fannie Dowdell

FANNIE LOU DOWDELL Funeral services for Fannie Lou Dowdell will be held Saturday, August 7, 2010, at 11:00 AM from Ebenezer C.M.E. Church with Rev. Larry Threatt officiating. Interment will be in Pine Level Cemetery, Loachapoka, AL. Miss Dowdell passed away Monday, August 2, 2010 at her home in Loachapoka. She taught school many years at Mullins School in the Marvyn Community, Boykin Elementary, Wrights Mill Road, and Dean Road Elementary School of Auburn prior to her retirement. She was a member of Ebenezer C.M.E. Church where she was active on the Stewardess Board No. 1, Sunday School Teacher, and choir. Later in life, she was ordained as a minister. She is survided by her sister, Gussie Dowdell, Loachapoka, AL; sister-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Dowdell, Winter Springs, FL; nieces, Delaine Priest, Deloise Dowdell both of Winter Springs, FL, Jody Dowdell, Loachapoka, AL and Victoria Dowdell, Auburn, AL; nephews, Wendall Pugh, Sunnyvale, CA, Eric Pugh, Oakland, CA and Christopher Dowdell, Loachapoka, AL; great nephews, Calvin Dowdell, Kevin Dowdell, Malik Priest, Malcolm Priest, Khalil Moss, Quendarius Byrd, Quenmarius Byrd, Chauncey Ponds Jr., Gumario Dowdell and Dashun Dowdell; great nieces, Dashel Dowdell and Ty'Keria Dowdell; other relatives and friends.
