Anti-intellectualism runs in Republican Party - from Syracuse Post Standard

I believe that the trend toward anti-intellectualism now prevalent in the Republican Party began with the nomination of the linguistically challenged George W. Bush. His daily butchery of the English language made one wonder if English was, in fact, his native tongue.
