Arrest made in shooting death

The man wanted in connection with the shooting death of 33-year-old Albrick Nolan turned himself in to police custody on Saturday morning, March 31.

The Macon County Sheriff's Office says 22-year-old Tasean Brown turned himself in  and is now being held at the Macon County Jail on $50,000 bond.

Investigators say Nolan and Brown going into an argument at the White House Nightclub on Friday, March 30. The argument ended with the shooting a little more than a mile away on County Road 13.

According to authorities, Nolan was found shot several times with a small caliber weapon around 4:30 a.m. Nolan was a former VictoryLand employee.

Warrants were issued for the arrest of Brown before he turned himself in.

Information for this article came in part from WSFA television. Numerous attempts by The Tuskegee News to reach Macon County Sheriff David Warren were unsuccessful. No calls were returned and Sheriff Department officials said only the sheriff could release details to the newspaper. Warren did appear on camera with WSFA concerning the case.
