Early B. Lewis



Early B. Lewis, 74, of Trenton died October 18, 2012 at Royal Health Gate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born and educated in Greenville, Alabama, Mr. Lewis relocated to Syracuse, NY. He was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ where he sang with the choir and served as a Deacon for over two decades.
Early retired from the Fraser & Jones Company in Solvay, NY after 40 years of dedicated service. He also served as the Union Board President.
Predeceased by his parents, J.D. Lewis and LuGenie Lewis, and a sister, Eulah Lewis surviving are his wife of fifty years; Louise Hunt-Lewis; a son; Lyndon E. Lewis; two daughters; Lisa Lewis-Gayton (Bradley); and Tammie Lewis-Thomas; five brothers; J.V. "Sonny"; Willie Dan; Frank; Walter and Perry Lewis; three sisters; Beulah McWilliams (Ernest); Dr. Lillie Williams (Dr. John); and Zula M. Lewis-Stone (Walter); a brother-in-law; William Hunt; of Washington, DC, 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Services will be Monday at noon at Campbell Funeral Chapel 1225 Calhoun St. Trenton, NJ.
Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery.
