Funeral service for Betty Louise Welch, 78, of Loachapoka, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in the Pine Level Cemetery in Loachapoka, AL, Rev. Ernest Griggs will officiate. Mrs. Welch, who passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at East Alabama Medical Center, was born October 4, 1934 in Lee County, Alabama. Public viewing will be Friday, March 22, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Survivors include: six children, Mary Lois Cochran of Birmingham, AL, Edna Ann Jackson of Syracuse, NY, Evora Jackson (Louis Jones) of Auburn, AL, Ira James (Camor) Jackson of Lafayette, AL, Willie Lee Welch, Jr. (Diane Yancey) of Loachapoka, AL and Eugene (Shirley) Welch of Barnesville, SC; one sister, Dorothy Macon of Auburn, AL; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; a host of other relatives Harris Funeral Home is directing
