Roosevelt Macon, our neighbor

ROOSEVELT WE'STEET MACON Mr. Roosevelt "We'Steet" Macon; Funeral service for Roosevelt Macon, 80, of Loachapoka, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Beulah #1 Missionary Baptist Church, Notasulga, AL, with interment in Pine Level Cemetery, Loachapoka, AL, Rev. Willie F. Smith will officiate. Mr. Macon, who passed away Friday, August 23, 2013 at the East Alabama Medical Center, was born June 3, 1933 in Macon County, Alabama. Public viewing for Mr. Macon will be Wednesday, August 28, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Macon will lie in repose one hour at the church prior to the service. Survivors include: one brother, Willie Odell Macon of Tuskegee, AL; four nieces, Bernice G. Guice, Annie Mae Buchannon of Loachapoka, AL, Atheria Dowdell of Opelika, AL and Irene Griffin of Loachapoka, AL; four nephews, Charlie Macon, Roscoe Macon, Larry Macon and Ocie Griffin all of Loachapoka, AL; four great-nieces, Carolyn Ann Gary of Auburn, AL, Cynthia (Alfred) Bryant, Catina Griffin of Atlanta, GA and Sharon Owens of Auburn, AL; a host of great-grand nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
