SACKO SLAUGHTER Mr. Sacko Slaughter; Funeral services for Sacko Slaughter, 37, of Auburn, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church with interment in the Pine Level cemetery, Rev. Anthony Shealey will officiate. Mr. Slaughter, who passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the East Alabama Medical Center, was born January 13, 1977 in Lee County, Alabama. Public viewing will be Friday, February 14, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Mr. Slaughter will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service. Survivors include: mother, Earnestine Slaughter of Loachapoka, AL; father, Alvin Slaughter of Loachapoka, AL; maternal grandparents, Mary and Lorenza Floyd of Loachapoka, AL; paternal grandfather, Ruben Slaughter of Loachapoka, AL; brother, Forranta (Valencia) Floyd of Loachapoka, AL; six aunts, Beatrice Floyd, Emma (Tommy Lockhart) Floyd, Willie Mae (Terry) Buford of Auburn, AL, Cheryl Slaughter, Bernice (Dexter) Jackson and Melissa Slaughter all of Loachapoka, AL; three uncles, Renza Floyd, John (Rene) Slaughter and Michael (Sandra) Slaughter of Loachapoka, AL; twelve great-aunts; eighteen great-uncles; one great-great-aunt, Ardell Willis; god-sister, Teresa Peay of Lafayette, AL; very special friend, Michael Tolbert of Loachapoka, AL; precious memories will also linger in the hearts of the Floyd, Willis, Slaughter and Tolbert families; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
