 Mrs. Julia Mae Scott Cason; Funeral services for Julia Mae Scott Cason, 91, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Bell Missionary Baptist Church, 348 Foster Street, Auburn, Alabama 36830, with interment in Pine Level Cemetery, Rev. Mark X. Lee will officiate. Mrs. Cason, who passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Phenix City, Alabama, was born July 29, 1922 in Lee County, Alabama. Public viewing will be Monday, April 28, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Cason will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service. Survivors include: four children, Gladys (Roy Lee) Johnson of Phenix City, AL, Ann Cobb of Auburn, AL, Jeanell Edwards both Opelika, AL and Jessie James Scott of Elmore, AL; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; devoted cousin, John Lee Dunn of Lafayette, AL; special friend and care- giver, Mattie Broaden of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
