"Bubba" Arlanis Eugene Smith, Jr. (George Taylor's grandson)

Arlanis " Little Bubba" Smith,Jr was born on February 5, 1970 in Joliet ,IL to Arlanis E. Smith, Sr. and Mary Smith. He departed this life on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Good Samaritan Health Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. He graduated from Loachapoke High School in Auburn, Alabama. He enjoyed fishing, and was a master on the grill. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Smith, his paternal grandparents, James and Betty Smith, maternal grandparents, George and Wyoline Taylor, one uncle, James Smith Jr. He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Arlanis Smith Sr. and step mother, Jennifer Smith, one daughter, Amber Smith of Joliet IL; two brothers, Christopher Smith of Madison, WI and James (Tish) Smith of Milwaukee, WI; four sisters, Mellisa Smith and Marquita Smith, both of Milwaukee, WI, Sharnell (Clemente) Grubbs and Tiffany Lee, all of Joliet IL; two stepbrothers, Minister Louis (Michele) Bass of Joliet IL, Tomeker (Manaya) Robertson of Pinehurst, NC; three step sisters, Bobbie Ward ,Lacreatia Barrett, and Brittany (Teresa) Robertson, all of Joliet IL; two aunts, Merecedes Herring of Joliet IL and Arnethia (Alonzo) Walker of Auburn, AL, three uncles, Timothy Smith of Joliet, IL, Hurbert (Geraldine) Taylor of Washington, DC and Darryl Smith of Springfield IL, and a host of relatives and friends.
