The grande premiere of this film was a big deal in my neighborhood. One might have mistaken the event for Oscar night at first glance. I wish I knew Creole at times like these.
I like listening to the local Haitian Baptist preachers on television. The make their points in impeccable English and elaborate in Creole. The creole cadences frame their statements well.
