...and only there - hence the tedious penchant of aspiring dimwits to obscure anything threatening the reign of ignorance. ~ Me

But we were born of risen apes, not fallen angels...
"But we were born of risen apes, not fallen angels, and the apes were armed killers besides. And so what shall we wonder at? Our murders and massacres and missiles, and our irreconcilable regiments? Or our treaties whatever they may be worth; our symphonies however seldom they may be played; our peaceful acres, however frequently they may be converted into battlefields; our dreams however rarely they may be accomplished. The miracle of man is not how far he has sunk but how magnificently he has risen. We are known among the stars by our poems, not our corpses."

Alex Ross quote
"...For at least a century, the music has been captive to a cult of mediocre élitism that tries to manufacture self-esteem by clutching at empty formulas of intellectual superiority..."

Remain Silent - Keb Mo
Don't stand there lyin', straight to my face
You not a lawyer, you got no case
And your alibi, it don't make sense
You're just a criminal, I got all the evidence
And they say the truth will set you free
But the less you say, the better off you'll be
You have the right to remain silent
You know you're guilty, don't even try it
Don't lie, I won't buy it
Just walk away and remain silent
I'm the judge, I'm the jury
Justice will be swift, there'll be no mercy
The punishement will fit the crime
One thing for sure, you're gon' do some time
And they say the truth will set you free
But the less you say, the better off you'll be
You have the right to remain silent
You know you're guilty, don't even try it
Don't lie, I won't buy it
Just walk away and remain silent
Anything you say, can and will be used against you
And you don't need anymore help, incriminatin' yourself
You have the right to remain silent
You know you're guilty, don't even try it
Don't lie, I won't buy it
Just walk away and remain silent
You have the right to remain silent
You know you're guilty, don't even try it
Don't lie, I won't buy it
Just walk away and remain silent
Yes, you got the right to remain silent
You know you're guilty, don't even try it
Don't lie, I won't buy it
Just walk away and remain silent, silent, silent

Baltimore mayor may count on sympathetic jurors
Seems like a Defense Attorney's wishful thinking is counted as news.
Newspapers are becoming curiouser and curiouser.

Blagojevich Impeachment Inquiry Stalls
A Street Committee, briefly convened on the Orange Line between Chinatown and Roxbury Crossing.....
"If it were a movie, this would be a good place for a plot twist", slurred Otis Campbell indignantly.
Sandra Clark stomped her foot and said, "Ain't that the truth! If Blago don't tune up to croon tomorrow, he could, at least, appoint himself to the United States Senate", emphatically.
Then Buckwheat said, "Naw, naw, see, if it tuz me, see, I would appoint myself to the United States Senate, put my best Elvis costume stand up in the Senate Chamber and tear out with Jailhouse Rock like this."
A red headed baby jumped out of her stroller and danced as Buckwheat sang.
