WILLIE NERUS "SON" WILLIAMS Willie Nerus "Son" Williams, 98, a resident of Salem, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at his residence. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 12:00 pm CST from Mountain Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. George Rampey officiating. Interment in Mountain Springs Cemetery. Mr. Williams was a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church where he served on the Deacon Board. He will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 until time of the funeral. Survivors are: sons, Willie (Wilma) Williams Jr. and Jack (Bobbie) Williams both of Salem; daughters, Annie Esther Miles, Smith, AL, Airlene Eiland, Salem, Alma (Marion) Hightower, Doris (Joe) Turner, Ann (John) Hightower and Shirlene (Jimmy) Berry all of Columbus, OH; sisters, Mary E. Davis, Salem and Annie Pearl Jackson, Birmingham, AL; son-in-law, Jasper Thomas Sr., Salem; daughter-in-law, Ardella Williams, Salem; brothers-in-law, Lonnie and Roy Nelms, Auburn; sister-in-in-law, Pauline Logan, Auburn; 43 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren, 25 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
