WALWYN BRADFORD

WALWYN "BRAD" BRADFORD Funeral service for Mr. Walwyn "Brad" Bradford, 63, of Auburn will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, March 5, 2010 at Peterson and Williams Chapel with interment in Mt. Vernon Church Cemetery. Brother Thomas Allen will officiate. Mr. Bradford passed Friday, February 26, 2010 at the East Alabama Medical Center. He was studying to become one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Mr. Bradford was a 1964 graduate of J. F. Drake High School and attended Tennessee State University. He moved to Syracuse, NY and was employed with Carrier until his retirement. Following retirement, he graduated from OCMBOCES School of Nursing, receiving his LPN licenses. In 2006, he returned to Auburn. Survivors: his wife, Lucindia Bradford, Auburn; daughters, Pamela Bradford, Charlotte, NC, Yolanda (Landis) Maddox, Watertown, NY and Tammie (Eros) Marshall, Sparta, NJ; sons, Walwyn Bradford Jr., Atlanta, GA and Jamal H. Bradford, Auburn; sisters, Mildred C. Jackson, Auburn, Minister Mary D. (Willie) Gatewood, Syracuse, NY, Ethel (Arnold) Glynn, Tuskegee, Lillye Pearl (Charles) Brown, Auburn and Florence Rebecca (Willie) Pleze, Decatur, GA; a brother, Grover (Dorothy) Jackson, Auburn; sisters-in-law, Bertha Bradford, Syracuse, NY, Joyce Durham and Tammie Ruffin both of Bossier City, LA; brothers-in-law, Ronnie Ruffin, Lorenza Ruffin and Roger Durham all of Bossier City, LA, and John Lewis Wagner, Syracuse, NY; grandchildren, Nijah, Kiara, Courtney, Brittney, Aaron, Zakia and Eros II; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends Peterson and Williams Funeral Home
