EMMA LOU JACKSON Funeral service for Mrs. Emma Lou Jackson, 97, of Auburn will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Ebenezer C.M.E. Church with interment in Pine Level Cemetery. Rev. Larry Threatts will officiate. Mrs. Jackson passed Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Bethany House. She was a member of Ebenezer C.M.E. Church where she served on the Board of Christian Education, the Missionary Society, the Lay Department and was the former president of Stewardess Board #1. Her remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Survivors: two children, Grover (Dorothy) Jackson and Mae (Raymond) Ware both of Auburn; two sisters, Ardell Willis, Loachapoka and Alberta Hand, Auburn; six grandchildren, Lamar Marbury, Christopher Jackson, Pamela Jackson, Raynetta Ware, Raymond Ware and Samantha Jackson; ten great grandchildren, Shermika Jackson, Courtney Jackson, Tiffany Hatch, Chawndre Lynch, LaCresha Walker, LaKenna Marbury, Lamar Marbury II, Cornelius Hart, Demetrius Heard and Destinee Jackson; four great-great grandchildren, Kentarius Jackson, Kaitlyn Lynch, Heaven Walker and Amiracle Walker; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
