Nadine F. Grimmett Starks
Mrs. Nadine F. Grimmett Starks 85 a resident of Notasulga, AL passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church, Notasulga, AL Rev. Willie Drisker, Pastor and Rev. Hardy Graves, Officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Notasulga, AL with Ross-Clayton Funeral Home, Inc., directing. Mrs. Starks will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jewel C. Starks; her parents, Edward and Lizzie Grimmett; a brother, Edward Grimmett, Jr. and a sister, Alma Tucker. She is survived by four children, Edward (Rita) Starks, Tucson, AZ, Natasha (Wayman) Starks, Henderson, NV, Charles (Patricia) Starks, Minneapolis, MN and Dale Conley, Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Xavier and Neil Starks and William D. Conley; two brothers, Walter (Clara) Grimmett, Preston (Isabell) Grimmett, both of Tuskegee, AL; three sisters, Minnie Carter, Mariah (Hardy) Graves and Erlene Thompson, all of Notasulga, AL; close friends, Minister Teressa Moman, Steve Jones and adopted son, Johnny Rogers; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and Charlie (The Boss) cat.
