Mrs. Alexander from Shorter
ALEXANDER, Mrs. Tommie M., age 89, a resident of Shorter, AL, died Thursday,
December 28, 2000 in an out of town hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday,
January 2, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. from Nebraska Baptist Church, Hardaway, AL. Burial will
follow in Sweet Gum Cemetery with Rev. J. Sullen, pastor, and Rev. G. Sanders officiating.
Burton's Funeral Home staff directing. Survivors include: Adrianne E. Chizzie Giles of
Shorter, AL; Carrie Lee Peterson of Lynn Haven, FL; Bobby (Annie Laura) Alexander of
Tuskegee, AL; Eddie Alexander of Huntsville, AL; Melvin (Josephine) Alexander of Stone
Mountain, GA; and Ausby (Flora) Alexander of Decatur, GA; daughter-in-law, Janie Alexander
of Shorter, AL; two sisters: Velma Wright of Shorter, AL, and Lobelia Moore of Tampa, FL;
and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends. Family hour will be Monday, January 1, 2001 from 6-7 p.m. at
