RUFUS E. FELTON

Mr. Rufus E. Felton; Memorial service for Rufus Felton, 59, of Auburn, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2013, at Shiloh A.M.E. Zion Church (Brownville Community), Rev. Charles Adams will officiate. Mr. Felton, who passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at University Hospital in Birmingham, AL, was born May 29, 1953 in Macon County, Alabama. Mr. Felton received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration from Auburn University. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of the Nu Iota Iota Graduate Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Family will receive family and friends, Thursday, March 28, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include: wife, Linda Felton; two daughters, Jessica Felton of Auburn, AL and Jasmin Felton of Nashville, TN; parents, Rufus & Mary Arcola Felton of Auburn, AL; one sister, Wendy Wright of Opelika, AL; six aunts, Vetrola Nelms of Opelika, AL, Ruby Talbert of Cleveland, OH, Sarah Bivins of Kansas City, MO, Hattie Rowell of Tuskegee, AL, Dorothy Felton of Piscataway, NJ and Patricia Ann Felton of Tuskegee, AL; mother-in-law, Countess Chapman of Roanoke, AL; sister-in-law, Countess E. Chapman of Lawrenceville, GA; brother-in-law, Ron (Mary) Chapman of Aurora, CO; family pet, Polo; a host of many special cousins and friends.
